In Dijon, in the Middle Ages, pigs wandered the streets looking for scraps of food. It was a hard life and they were tough pigs who learned to fight and bite for everything.
One pig ate a young child. The pig was put on trial for murder and was found guilty. Murderers in France were hanged – so they hanged the pig.
